In India (IWAI) has begun the preparatory works

In India there was no uniform and easy to implement taxation
policy in place across supply chains. It has been seen that companies built
warehouses in each state to evade taxes which is not a good practice as far as
logistical efficiency is concerned.  The
Indian Logistics Sector has in recent times been in a transformation mode. With
GST coming to the fore and uniform approach there will be a positive impact on
warehousing in India.
